Martyna Kliszewska

Painter and actress, graduate of the acting department of the PWST in Krakow and the painting and graphics department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. 

For years, she has successfully combined work in the theater with creative painting activity.

She presented her paintings during individual exhibitions, including at the Kuratorium Gallery in Warsaw, at the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Częstochowa, in galleries in Tarnobrzeg and Opole, as well as during the 20th Star Festival in Międzyzdroje and the Night of Museums 2019 in Warsaw.

In the theater, she has worked with great artists, including Kazimierz Dejmek, Mikołaj Grabowski, Tadeusz Słobodzianek and Michał Urbaniak.

The newest theater project by FRIDA. Life Art Revolution by Jakub Przebindowski combines the artist’s painting and acting experiences.

Playing the role of Frida Kahlo, Kliszewska puts herself in the position of a contemporary artist.

The painter’s works can be found in France, Italy, Germany, the United States, as well as in several private collections of Polish Contemporary Art.
